I started beading as a way to keep my spirits up after being laid off in 2009. Then I landed a job in just 3 months – now when was I going to do my bead work? But seriously, working with glass and semiprecious stones satisfies my need for color and I find it extremely rewarding. I only wish I had more time to bead, as my imagination runs far ahead of what my fingers can do.
